This product is made by extracting and processing fresh branches and leaves of Cinnamomum cam phora (L.) Presl, a plant in the Lauraceae family.

【 Appearance 】 This product is a white crystalline powder or flaky crystal. It has a fragrant aroma, a spicy and cool taste. Volatile, with thick smoke and a yellow flame when ignited.

This product is soluble in ethanol, chloroform, or ether, and almost insoluble in water.

The melting point should be between 204 and 209 ℃ (General Rule 0612).

Take an appropriate amount of this product, accurately weigh it, add ethanol to make a solution containing 0.1g per 1ml, and measure it according to the method (General Rule 0621). The specific rotation should be+34 ° to+38 °.
